Sugandha was a blessing and GREAT addition to our core team!

Sughi (aka Sugandha) was introduced and added to the 2023 Portland Tango Festival core organizing team. We did not have a marketing person the prior year which left a void of communication to the tango community both locally, nationally, and abroad. We were in desperate need of a dedicated marketing person for our event. Suganda accepted the position wholeheartedly and enthusiastically!!! She jumped right in, reviewed our operational plan, and developed a marketing strategy to coincide with our planning schedule. She posted on social media weekly and sent newsletters to our subscribers keeping everyone updated on our developments, changes, and activities. She was able to craft difficult messages in a positive and uplifting way. Her creative genius and twist on words helped keep the vibe going and conveyed the message in a friendly and engaging way! Her weekend special using a play on the tango term OCHO resulted in pre-sales and early excitement for our upcoming event! Her outstanding work helped to make this year’s event a BIG success!!!
